Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own family law files with appropriate supervision and support
- Draft affidavits, settlement proposals, correspondence and court documents
- Conduct negotiations and liaise with clients, counsel and third parties
- Assist with procedural hearings, directions, and day to day matter strategy
- Provide high quality, empathetic client service in sensitive and complex matters
- Contribute to the redevelopment and growth of the family law practice
- 2+ years PQE in family law with ability to maintain carriage of files
- Strong drafting skills and sound understanding of the family law process
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- A proactive, warm, collaborative personality; someone who fits into a tight knit team
