This role is designed for a lawyer with around 1 year PQE
- someone ambitious, switched on, and eager to roll up their sleeves. You’ll play a key role across the team’s diverse commercial litigation, insolvency, and debt recovery work, with opportunities to dip into construction and property disputes along the way. Key Responsibilities - Support senior lawyers on commercial litigation, insolvency, and debt recovery matters
- Draft correspondence and court documents, conduct research, and prepare briefs
- Assist with filings, deadlines, and day to day matter management
- Engage with well established, long standing clients under senior supervision
- Collaborate with the insolvency team on cross over matters
- Contribute to a positive, team oriented environment and build strong internal relationships
What We’re Looking For - Around 1 year PQE in commercial litigation, insolvency, or a related disputes area
- A willingness to learn, take direction, and handle the “nuts and bolts” of files
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team focused attitude
- Curiosity, ambition, and a genuine interest in developing as a litigator
Team Structure You’ll join one of the firm’s largest and most well resourced teams, led by a dedicated Partner with support from a Senior Manager, Associate, Senior Paralegal, Paralegal, and Law Clerk.
The litigation and insolvency teams operate closely together, sitting side by side and collaborating on matters; creating a dynamic, well rounded learning environment.
