This role will see you working closely with a highly respected and supportive Partner who is well known for mentoring staff, while also assisting lawyers across Litigation, Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Property Law matters. The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple practice areas and supporting a busy legal team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing legal correspondence
- Drafting affidavits and court documents
- Preparing briefs to counsel and court books
- Opening new files and preparing costs agreements
- General file and matter management
- Preparing billing reports and issuing tax invoices
- Diary management and coordinating meetings
- Conducting property, personal and company searches
- Assisting with research and discovery
- Liaising with clients, barristers and other stakeholders
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team
About You:This role would suit a career Paralegal, Legal Assistant, PA or Legal Secretary who enjoys being involved in matters and working closely with lawyers.
You will bring: - 2+ years’ experience in a law firm as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- A proactive and professional approach
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
