You’ll be immersed in complex, stimulating work from day one; think domestic building disputes, commercial claims, SOP matters, insolvency issues, and Owners Corporation litigation. After a well structured training period, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own matters, appear in VCAT and the courts, brief barristers, and build meaningful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities - Take charge of a diverse litigation caseload
- Represent clients in VCAT, County Court, and Supreme Court matters
- Draft court documents, conduct research, and provide pragmatic, strategic advice
- Work closely with the partner on complex, multi-party disputes
- Engage in ongoing CPD and industry training (100% covered by the firm)
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, barristers, and stakeholders
Candidate Requirements - 2+ years PQE in building & construction or commercial litigation
- A genuine interest to build your career in building & construction litigation
- Experience in VCAT, County, or Supreme Court matters
- Confident working directly with builders, homeowners, and multi-party disputes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage files independently
- Proactive, ambitious, and keen to learn from a leading industry figure
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
