The Role
This firm are now seeking a vibrant and professional Receptionist/Practice Administrator to join their team. You would be responsible for providing outstanding support to their clients and internal team of accountants.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Email correspondence with clients
- Scanning, filing and archiving when necessary
- Maintaining the client database
- Updating client information such as change of name or address
- Liaising with the ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients
- Preparing letters and other documentation for clients
- Lodgements of documentation through the ATO portal
- Title searches and company searches through ASIC
- Registering and deregistering companies
- Establishing new companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSF
- Applications for TFN, ABN, GST and Workcover
- Collating tax returns and lodgements of income tax returns
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS/IAS
- Raising invoices
- Any other adhoc administration as required
About You - Experience working in an accounting firm in a similar role is essential for this role
- Be a people person and love talking to new people
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- High attention to detail
