The Opportunity As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting a growing specialist practice. This is a standout opportunity to expand your expertise into complex estate taxation matters while working closely with legal professionals and senior advisors.
You’ll be supported through structured training and mentorship as you take on challenging, meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare income tax returns for individuals, deceased estates, and testamentary trusts
- Conduct CGT cost base reconstructions
- Work with the technical advisory team on complex matters
- Apply estate administration tax concepts, including legal principles
- Prepare IAS/BAS
- Liaise with executors, solicitors, and external accountants
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and contribute to ongoing process improvements
What You Need to Succeed - Minimum 3 years’ Australian tax experience
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
- Strong technical capability and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with legal concepts and complex client situations
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise, and work both autonomously and in a team
- Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving
