About the Role
Working within a collaborative pod structure, you will manage your own family law matters while having the support of experienced senior lawyers and colleagues around you.
The role offers exposure across both parenting and property matters, with the opportunity to develop your practice according to your interests and strengths. You may work across parenting disputes, property settlements, financial matters and more complex family law disputes, with the exact mix depending on your experience and the matters coming into the firm.
You will be involved across the full life cycle of your matters, including client advice, drafting, negotiations, mediations and court work. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will be expected to operate with a good level of autonomy while contributing to the wider team and supporting a collaborative working environment.
What They’re Looking For - 2–4+ years’ PAE in Family Law, with strong family law experience.
- Solid experience managing family law matters with increasing autonomy.
- Exposure to both parenting and property matters is advantageous.
- A strong client focus and the ability to approach challenging matters with empathy and professionalism.
- The confidence to work autonomously while also enjoying a highly collaborative team environment.
- A willingness to learn, develop and take on feedback.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of clients.
- A compassionate yet resilient approach to family law.
