Client Support Officer | Boutique Accounting Firm | Sydney CBD

We're partnering with a highly regarded boutique accounting firm in Sydney CBD that is entering an exciting period of growth.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator or client support professional to join a close-knit team, work directly alongside an approachable Partner, and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Client Support Officer to provide essential administrative and client support across the day-to-day operations of the Sydney office.
This is a varied role where you'll become an integral part of the team, helping keep the office running smoothly while providing a high level of service to clients and supporting the accounting team.

The Sydney office currently has a team of three, with plans to grow to five or six staff in the near future, with further expansion expected beyond that.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing ATO correspondence and related administration
  • Providing general office administration and secretarial support
  • Liaising with clients and assisting with day-to-day enquiries
  • Preparing and sending client documentation
  • Managing incoming calls and emails
  • Maintaining accurate client records and databases
  • Providing administrative support to the accounting team
  • Assisting with office coordination and general organisation
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
About You 
  • Previous administration, office support or client service experience
  • Public practice accounting experience is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and stay organised
  • A proactive and self-sufficient approach
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
