We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with 5+ years' experience to join a busy and established commercial practice. With an experienced Partner transitioning out of the practice, there is an immediate opportunity for someone to step into an existing workflow, take ownership of client relationships and play an important role in the continued development of the team.

The opportunity You will work across a broad and interesting range of commercial matters, including:
- General commercial transactions and contract reviews.
- Business acquisitions and disposals.
- Business sales and purchases.
- Commercial leasing.
- General commercial advisory work.
The client base is wonderfully diverse, ranging from small business owners and private clients through to high-net-worth individuals and established businesses.
You will enjoy a good degree of autonomy, direct client contact and access to an experienced Partner team whenever needed. There is also an opportunity to mentor and support junior lawyers and graduates as the team continues to grow.

The firm has approximately 46 staff and a close-knit, collaborative feel. It offers clients access to experienced practitioners and direct Partner involvement, without the fee structures and formality often associated with larger CBD firms.
We are interested in speaking with Commercial Lawyers with 5+ years' experience who are looking for a varied practice and a genuinely supportive working environment.
You'll ideally bring: - Solid general commercial law experience.
- Confidence managing matters and client relationships independently.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

- An interest in mentoring and supporting junior team members.
