Executive Business Administrator | CBD | $80K-$95K + Super

A well-established and highly regarded accounting firm in Melbourne CBD is currently seeking an experienced Executive Business Administrator to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Partners and senior professionals, supporting a diverse portfolio of large corporate and high-net-worth clients. You’ll be joining a collaborative, professional environment where your organisational skills, initiative and attention to detail will be genuinely valued.

The Opportunity:

Working within the Business Advisory Services division, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to Partners and their teams.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting Partners and senior accounting professionals with day-to-day administration
  • Preparing and processing client billing in line with engagement terms
  • Completing AML/KYC checks and client due diligence
  • Managing corporate secretarial requirements, including incorporations and ASIC changes
  • Maintaining share and unit registers and accurate client records
  • Managing confidential documentation, scanning and mail
  • Coordinating ATO lodgements and monitoring key deadlines
  • Assisting with the collation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Liaising with clients, lawyers, the ATO and internal stakeholders
  • Managing documentation and ensuring records are accurately maintained
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider Business Advisory team
About You:

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders

To be considered, you will have:
  • Previous public practice accounting experience – essential
  • Experience working within a professional services environment
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence liaising with Partners, clients and external stakeholders
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience with MYOB AE is advantageous
  • Familiarity with MYOB and/or Xero is highly regarded
  • CA or CPA environment experience is advantageous
