Our client, a highly regarded boutique Family Law firm based in Sydney CBD, is seeking a talented Family Law Associate to join their growing team. About the Role
You will manage a diverse range of Family Law matters, including complex property settlements, financial disputes and parenting matters, working alongside highly experienced practitioners. The firm handles a mix of matters, including high-value property disputes involving assets ranging from $8 million to $18 million. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, manage your own files from start to finish and contribute to the continued growth of an established boutique practice.
Key Responsibilities - Independently manage a diverse range of Family Law matters, including property settlements, parenting disputes and financial agreements.
- Handle matters from initial consultation through to negotiation, mediation, litigation and resolution.
- Provide high-quality, practical legal advice while developing strong and trusted client relationships.
- Collaborate with experienced Family Law practitioners on challenging and technically complex matters.
- Contribute to the firm's ongoing growth through client relationship development and business development opportunities.
About You
You will be an experienced Family Law Associate with a strong background in property settlements, parenting matters and Family Law litigation. You will be confident managing your own files independently, with minimal supervision, and have the technical expertise to handle complex matters from start to finish.
You will bring excellent communication and client relationship skills, sound commercial judgement and a collaborative approach to working within a close-knit team. An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice will be highly regarded.
