An exciting role for a well-rounded commercial lawyer ready to take ownership of their work!
Join a growing boutique practice where you’ll work across a genuinely varied mix of commercial, property and transactional matters, rather than being limited to one area of law.
The role would suit a lawyer who has developed broad commercial experience and is confident working across matters such as commercial property, leasing, off-the-plan developments, building contracts, contractual matters and general commercial advice. Experience with duty applications and partitions would also be highly regarded.
You’ll work closely with senior practitioners and have plenty of autonomy over your matters, while still having access to guidance and support when you need it. There is also an opportunity to provide guidance to more junior members of the team as you grow into the role.
The opportunity - Work across commercial & property rather than being restricted to one practice area.
- Take ownership of your matters with genuine autonomy and direct client contact.
- Gain exposure to varied, commercially sophisticated work, including developers and established businesses.
- Mentor and support junior lawyers while continuing to develop your own technical skills.
- Join a close-knit team that works collaboratively and enjoys a relaxed, personality-driven culture.
- Potential for future progression, depending on the value you bring to the practice and your ability to develop strong client relationships.
Your experience may include: - Commercial property and development
- Commercial leasing
- Off-the-plan transactions
- Building and construction contracts
- Commercial contracts and advisory work
- Duty applications
- Partitions
- General commercial matters and transactions
You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team where people are encouraged to be themselves. It’s a professional environment without the formality — the team works hard, enjoys working together and regularly gets out for social events.
The office has a modern fit-out with plenty of natural light, is close to public transport and has parking nearby. While the preference is for lawyers to be in the office and part of the team, there is flexibility to work from home.
If you’re looking for broader commercial exposure, genuine autonomy and a team where you can have an impact, this is well worth exploring.
