Legal PA Sydney | Flexible Working Environment | Established Law Firm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal PA who is looking for genuine flexibility, autonomy and the chance to make a role their own, within a close-knit team that understands that life outside of work matters too.

About the Role
You will provide legal and administrative support primarily to the Principal and a Family Law Partner, while also assisting the wider Family Law team as required.

The role is varied and has plenty of scope to grow. Rather than being a rigid, narrowly defined PA position, you will have the opportunity to shape the role around your strengths and take on as much responsibility as you are comfortable with.

Your responsibilities may include:
  • Providing PA and administrative support to the Principal and Family Law Partner
  • Diary and inbox management
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
  • File and matter management
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with Family Law matters and general legal administration
  • Preparing documents, organising meetings and coordinating appointments
  • Supporting the wider team when required
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and take ownership of additional responsibilities
Why Join?
  • WFH options
  • Flexibility around start and finish times to accommodate family commitments and personal circumstances
  • A supportive employer that trusts its staff and works with individual needs
  • Small, close-knit team of approximately 12–14 staff
  • Opportunity to take ownership and shape the role around your strengths
  • Direct exposure to and support for senior legal professionals
  • Varied role across PA, legal support and administration
  • Busy and high-performing practice with the workload and turnover of a much larger firm
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career within a supportive environment
About You
  • Solid experience supporting solicitors or senior legal professionals
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • The confidence to work autonomously and take ownership
  • Family Law experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate
  • A genuine interest in becoming a trusted and valued member of a close-knit team
