Paralegal - Family Law | Supportive & People-Focused Culture

We are working with a well-established boutique law firm with almost 20 years of experience, led by a highly experienced and approachable Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Paralegal to join a close-knit team and work alongside experienced legal professionals in a role offering genuine responsibility and exposure to a diverse range of family law matters.

The Opportunity:

As a Family Paralegal, you will provide high-level support across a range of family law matters, working closely with the legal team and assisting with the day-to-day management of files.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting solicitors with a diverse range of Family Law matters
  • Managing and maintaining files from commencement through to resolution
  • Preparing correspondence, court documents and legal documentation
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation
  • Liaising with clients, courts and other relevant parties
  • Assisting with court and mediation preparation
  • Preparing briefs, chronologies, affidavits and other supporting documentation
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
  • Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the Family Law team

About You :

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Family Law and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
You will ideally have:
  • Previous experience as a Family Law Paralegal
  • Strong knowledge of Family Law processes and terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Confidence communicating with clients and legal professionals
  • A proactive and positive approach to your work
  • The ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player
Please note:

The successful candidate will initially be required to work 5 days in the office while they complete training and settle into the team. Once established in the role, hybrid flexibility will be available.
