Senior Legal Assistant - Family Law - Hybrid Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Family Law Legal Assistant to join a well-established Melbourne CBD law firm. 

making it a rare opportunity to step into a stable and respected team.

Working alongside an experienced Family Law team, you will provide high-level support across a broad range of complex family law matters, including high-net-worth property settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements, maintenance issues, divorce and child support.

The Role You will play a key role supporting the wider Family Law team, with responsibilities including:
  • Preparing correspondence, Court documents and briefs to Counsel
  • Diary and calendar management
  • Preparing and filing Court documents
  • Trial preparation and brief management
  • Liaising with clients, Barristers and other external parties
  • Maintaining electronic files and document management
  • Billing and general practice administration
  • Providing high-level support across a busy Family Law practice
About You To be successful in this position, you will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Family Law Legal Assistant
  • Strong experience supporting complex Family Law matters
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, professional and team-focused approach
