A high-end commercial litigation practice is seeking an experienced Associate or junior Senior Associate to step into a busy, sophisticated workflow and operate with real autonomy from day one. This role is ideal for a litigator who enjoys complex matters, direct client contact and a relaxed, supportive team culture.
The Opportunity You will be working closely with an experienced senior litigator on a significant portfolio of complex matters, including clients who consistently generates challenging and high value disputes.
Your day to day work will involve:
- Various contractual disputes
- Property and building disputes
- Insolvency and recovery matters
- Major finance disputes
- Statutory demands, bankruptcy notices and enforcement work
- Supreme and Federal Court litigation
- High net worth and corporate client matters
This is a hands on role with full carriage of files, real responsibility and access to senior guidance as needed. No micromanagement, just genuine collaboration.

What You Bring
To thrive here, you’ll need 4+ years’ experience in commercial litigation and the confidence to hit the ground running. Experience in general commercial disputes, recovery work, or acting for insolvency practitioners will be highly regarded. Above all, you should be proactive, driven and comfortable navigating complex matters independently.
