About the Role You’ll work closely with clients and the internal/offshore bookkeeping team, ensuring smooth communication and high-quality service. With two senior bookkeepers and offshore support handling much of the processing, your role will focus on:
- Building strong client relationships and being the main point of contact
- Processing transactions and reconciliations where required
- Preparing BAS/IAS
- Managing payroll (a key component of the role)
- Assisting with reporting and compliance
About You - Experienced in bookkeeping with strong payroll knowledge
- Comfortable liaising directly with clients and managing expectations
- Xero experience is highly preferred (most clients are on Xero; Hubdocs also used frequently)
- Proactive, organised, and collaborative team player
