The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Business Services Manager to lead and coordinate the Business Services Team while managing a portfolio of clients.
This role is both people-focused and client-facing, offering the chance to influence team performance, drive efficiencies, and identify growth opportunities within the client base.
You will be responsible for managing workflow, reviewing technical work, and acting as the key point of contact for your allocated clients
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing and mentoring accountants and Client Service Coordinators
- Running weekly workflow meetings and overseeing team capacity
- Conducting client meetings including tax planning and advisory meetings
- Providing ongoing tax and compliance advice
- Reviewing financial statements and tax returns for technical accuracy
About You
- Previous experience in a Business Services Manager or Senior Accountant role
- Strong technical knowledge of small business tax and compliance
- Proven experience managing and mentoring staff
- Confident in client-facing situations and advisory conversations
- Experience using Xero-based systems
- Strong organisational and workflow management skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
