Corporate & Commercial Lawyer - 3+ years PQE

A highly regarded mid-sized Melbourne law firm is seeking a talented Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join its well established and growing team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a role offering sophisticated, high value work across a diverse client base without the rigidity of a top-tier environment.

Working closely with experienced senior practitioners, you’ll gain exposure to complex and strategic matters while being supported in developing your own client relationships and practice profile.

You will be involved in:

• Corporations Act advisory work
• Australian Consumer Law matters
• PPSR advice and registrations
• Business and share sale transactions (including earn-out arrangements)
• Complex shareholder and unitholder agreements
• Trust and partnership structures
• Employee share schemes
• Company secretarial matters
• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements

The work is intellectually engaging, commercially strategic, and client facing.

The team advises an impressive client portfolio including:

• Family offices and boutique investment funds
• Technology and software companies
• National e-commerce platforms
• Established private groups and ASX-listed entities
• Transport and logistics operators
• Recognised global brands

We are looking for:

• 3+ years PAE with solid commercial/corporate experience
• Technically strong with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded and solutions-focused
• Confident advising clients ranging from start ups to ASX-listed entities
• A clear and articulate communicator
• Interested in building client relationships and contributing to business development

You understand how to assess risk, think creatively, and deliver pragmatic outcomes.
