Corporate M&A / Commercial Lawyer - 3+ yrs PQE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a mid-level Commercial Lawyer to join a well established Melbourne firm with a busy, genuinely diverse practice and a strong reputation for client service.

This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys variety, takes pride in high quality work, and is comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with significant responsibility and autonomy.

The Role
You will work across both the Commercial and Property teams, with a practice mix that includes:

• Mergers & Acquisitions
• General corporate and commercial advisory work 
• Property transactions, including hands on use of PEXA and Duties Online

• Someone who is dedicated, thorough, and resilient
• Comfortable managing fast turnaround matters and demanding clients
• Confident working autonomously while knowing when to seek input
• Commercially minded, with strong attention to detail

Key Requirements

• Admitted lawyer with 3 years’ PQE in commercial transactional work
• At least 2 years’ solid property experience, including PEXA and Duties Online
• Strong drafting, editing, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage the full carriage of files
• Proactive, organised, and calm under pressure
