A Mid -Tier law firm is seeking a polished and proactive Executive Assistant to support a Director/Senior Partner and several lawyers within their Melbourne office.
The Opportunity:This is a pivotal role where you will provide high-level administrative and client support while working closely with senior legal practitioners. You will be trusted to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include: - Providing comprehensive support to a Senior Partner and team
- Liaising with clients, barristers and lawyers
- Drafting, proofreading and filing legal documents and correspondence
- Diary, meeting and travel management
- Matter management including file setup, conflict checks and due diligence
- End-of-month billing, invoice preparation and file closures
- Preparing case briefs, contracts, presentations and formatted documents
- Coordinating client and team events
About You:
You are an experienced Legal Executive Assistant who understands the pace and precision required in litigation. You are proactive, highly organised and confident managing senior stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will have: - Proven experience supporting Partners or Executives within a legal environment
- Strong understanding of court processes and legal documentation
- Exceptional communication and client service skills
- High-level organisational and time management capability
- Confidence learning and navigating legal technology systems
- Experience with Actionstep (highly regarded)
- Experience with RedCrest, Commonwealth Courts Portal, eLodgement and Citec (advantageous)
