Family Lawyer 1-2 years PQE

An exciting opportunity has opened within a long established and highly regarded law firm for a Junior Family Lawyer to join a growing and evolving team. This role has been created as part of a broader expansion strategy and offers a rare chance to step into a hands on position with real responsibility from day one.

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or 0-2 year PQE lawyer with some exposure to family law (or a strong interest in building a career in the area) who is looking to accelerate their development in a supportive, high quality environment.
 
The Opportunity
You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of family law matters, while also being trusted to take ownership of your own files as your capability grows. The role is designed to balance autonomy with strong mentorship, giving you the support you need without limiting your progression.

You’ll gain exposure to:

• Parenting and children’s matters
• Property settlements (including complex/high value assets)
• Binding Financial Agreements
• A wide variety of private client matters, including high net worth individuals

This is a genuinely hands on role where you’ll be involved in meaningful legal work, not just administrative support.

About You

• Admitted lawyer (or close to admission) with 0-2 years PQE
• Some exposure to family law or a strong desire to specialise
• Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
• Empathetic, personable, and able to work with sensitive matters
• Motivated to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
