About the Role Are you a confident and capable family lawyer ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic national firm where you’ll take full carriage of both parenting and property matters, with the support of experienced partners and a high-performing team.
We’re looking for someone who’s driven, fast moving, and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll be the key lawyer between graduate and partner level in the family law team, providing leadership on matters and mentoring junior staff, with clear pathways to progress.
What You’ll Be Working On A broad range of family law matters, including:
- Parenting disputes
- Complex property settlements
- Binding Financial Agreements
- Divorce and separation matters
- Family law litigation
You’ll run your own files with direct client contact, working with a varied client base – from high net worth individuals to everyday clients. There's also an opportunity to be involved in mentoring, business development, and building your own client base over time.
The Team & Firm You’ll join a supportive family law team made up of 2 hands on, experienced partners. You’ll also have assistance from a graduate lawyer, a paralegal and a legal assistant.
This role sits right in the middle of the team – ideal for someone ready to step up and take ownership. The broader firm is 45 people strong, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and now Adelaide, and exciting plans to expand into Brisbane.

What We're Looking For - 4-7 years PQE
- Comfortable managing complex parenting and property files independently
- Able to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Strong communication skills and client focused mindset
- Commercially savvy, fast working, and proactive
- Interest in BD and growing your own practice over time
