Family Lawyers - 10+ yrs PQE

We are working with an established family law practice seeking an experienced Senior Family Lawyer / Special Counsel-level practitioner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior family lawyer who enjoys running their own matters, building client relationships and contributing to the continued success of a collaborative practice.

The Opportunity
Joining an established family law team, you will have immediate access to a strong pipeline of quality matters while working with a high level of autonomy.

The role will involve managing a diverse range of family law matters, including complex and sensitive cases across:

• Parenting and relationship matters
• Property settlements and financial disputes
• Complex family law proceedings
• Matters involving both high net worth clients and everyday Australian families

You will have the opportunity to take carriage of your own files, work closely with clients and contribute your expertise within a supportive team environment.

About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced Family Lawyer who is looking for a role where they can operate with independence while being part of a genuinely collaborative team. You will ideally have:

• 10+ years PQE experience in Family Law
• Strong technical capability across complex family law matters
• The ability to independently manage files from start to finish
• Strong client relationship skills and a genuine interest in helping people through challenging circumstances
• A commercial mindset and the ability to develop and maintain professional networks
• An interest in contributing to the growth of the practice through marketing, relationships and mentoring junior team members

While a significant existing client base is not essential, the successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable building relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
