An excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable and personable lawyer to join a well established regional practice with a loyal client base and genuine long term career prospects. This role would suit a commercially minded generalist who enjoys client contact, autonomy, and being part of a close knit professional team.
The practice services predominantly local clients, many of whom value face to face advice, and offers a broad and interesting mix of work across commercial matters, wills and estates, commercial litigation, and a dash of conveyancing. There is also scope to expand into any other practice area for candidates with an interest in building or shaping a new department.

The Role
- Full carriage of files with direct client contact
- Advising a loyal “mum and dad” client base across a range of general practice matters
- Exposure to commercial, W&E, conveyancing and litigation work (court appearances welcomed but not mandatory)
- Supervising and mentoring a junior lawyer
- Working closely with the Principal in a supportive environment
- Enjoy working in a warm and friendly office with WFH flexibility
- A confident and self-sufficient lawyer with a general practice background
- Comfortable managing matters and dealing directly with clients
- Interested in mentoring and contributing to the growth of a small team
- A collaborative, down to earth approach that suits a regional practice and community
- Real career progression – clear scope to step into a senior leadership or partnership role over time
