A boutique, multidisciplinary Melbourne-based accounting and advisory firm with 3 Partners and a team of 18 staff. The firm services a broad mix of SME and high-net-worth clients across industries including medical, legal, retail, manufacturing, IT, and more (typically $1M-$50M turnover).

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant with 2-4 years’ experience in public practice who is looking to step up and broaden their skillset. You’ll work directly with Senior Managers and Partners, gaining valuable exposure to both compliance and advisory.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entity types
- Preparing BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
- Liaising directly with clients and the ATO
- Maintaining high-quality workpapers and supporting senior team members
- 2–4 years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Degree in Accounting or Commerce
- CA/CPA commenced or near completion
- Experience with Xero and cloud-based systems
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Direct access to Partners and meaningful client interaction
- Diverse and high-quality client base
- CA/CPA support (including financial support and study leave)
- Regular training (weekly/fortnightly webinars and seminars)
