The Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing individual tax returns and BAS statements
- Assisting with compliance work for SME clients
- Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters
- Supporting senior accountants and partners with client work
- Assisting with financial statements and general tax compliance
- Building relationships with clients and assisting with queries
- 2-3 years’ experience within public practice accounting
- Experience preparing individual tax returns and BAS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with Xero or MYOB is beneficial
- Currently studying or planning to undertake CA / CPA (preferred)
- Flexible working hours - 9:00am-5:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm
- 4 days per week to start - options to move to 5 days
