Our client, a mid-sized 3-partner CA firm with 45 staff, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their dynamic, friendly, and social team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to complex, high-profile clients while benefiting from structured training and career progression.
About the Firm Our client works with a wide range of clients, from multi-million-dollar franchise groups and large corporate clients to SMEs, HNW individuals, and entertainment companies like record labels and touring acts. Software & Tools: APS (Practice Software), MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks
About the Role As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with senior staff and partners, gaining experience across a variety of client types and industries. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns
- Supporting audit, compliance, and advisory engagements
- Learning and applying best-practice accounting processes across a diverse client base
- Participating in training programs, including monthly Tax Banter sessions and mentorship opportunities
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative firm culture
About You We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and proactive accountant who is keen to learn and grow. Ideally, you will have:
- Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce (or equivalent)
- CA/CPA enrolment or intention to enrol
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting and taxation
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Eagerness to develop in a supportive, structured training environment
