About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior or early intermediate accountant looking to accelerate their learning. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio and receive direct mentorship to develop your skills across both compliance and advisory work.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Assist with financial statement preparation for a variety of entities
- Process BAS and handle general bookkeeping tasks
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
- Support high-net-worth clients and gain exposure to complex structures
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records
- Weekly tax updates and monthly training sessions through Knowledge Shop
- Hybrid working model with up to two work-from-home days
- Fully cloud-based, paperless office using market-leading systems
- CA/CPA support – fees paid once enrolled
- Quarterly team events plus two firm-wide functions each year
- Open-door leadership that prioritises development and mentoring
- Exposure to advisory projects and high-value client groups
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in Australian public practice
- Studying or planning to start CA/CPA
- Confident with tax and BAS preparation
- Familiar with Xero, MYOB or other major accounting software
- A proactive mindset and strong desire to grow
