The Role
They’re looking for a motivated junior or intermediate accountant to join their tight-knit team. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
- Assist in preparing financial statements across a range of entities
- Process BAS and manage bookkeeping duties
- Liaise with the ATO on client matters
- Support high-net-worth clients and gain exposure to complex structures
- Maintain accurate client records and compliance documentation
- Weekly tax updates and monthly training (Knowledge Shop resources)
- Hybrid working – up to two days from home
- Paperless office with leading cloud-based systems
- Quarterly social events plus two major firm-wide functions annually
- CA/CPA support – fees paid once enrolled
- Exposure to advisory projects and complex client groups
- Supportive, open-door culture that prioritises development
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar
- At least 1 year experience in Australian public practice
- Currently studying or planning to commence CA/CPA
- Familiarity with tax and BAS preparation
- Comfortable using accounting software (Xero, MYOB, etc.)
- Eager to learn, grow, and take your career to the next level
