An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic junior lawyer or graduate to join a growing litigation team within a highly regarded boutique law firm based in Melbourne’s beach side suburbs!
This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced practitioners on a range of building and construction litigation matters, while receiving hands on mentorship and genuine long term career development opportunities. The firm is seeking someone bright, personable and eager to learn, who is looking to build a strong foundation in litigation within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
You will work directly with senior lawyers and gain exposure to a variety of interesting and complex matters from the outset. This is a rare opportunity to receive meaningful training and mentorship while becoming part of a close knit team that is continuing to grow.
The role would suit a recent graduate, someone completing their PLT, or a junior lawyer with an interest in litigation and building & construction matters. Prior experience is not essential, however any exposure to litigation or construction-related matters will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on building and construction litigation matters
- Drafting correspondence and court documents
- Conducting legal research
- Liaising with clients and counsel
- Supporting senior practitioners across a range of litigation files
- Attending meetings, mediations and court appearances where appropriate
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- A genuine interest in litigation and construction matters
- Positive, proactive and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
- Someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
