The Role:
As a Property Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing property transactions from commencement through to settlement while supporting lawyers and partners across a diverse range of matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing files
- Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating contracts of sale and purchase
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, banks, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Coordinating settlements and online lodgements
- Conducting title searches, property enquiries, and due diligence investigations
- Managing key dates, diary commitments, and settlement deadlines
- Assisting with subdivision and development matters
- Supporting billing processes and file management requirements
- Providing exceptional client service throughout each transaction
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: - 3+ years' experience as a Property Paralegal
- Strong conveyancing experience across sale and purchase matters
- Solid knowledge of PEXA, SPEAR, and Duties Online
- Experience using Tri-Convey or similar conveyancing software
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities
- Experience with iManage or similar document management systems (highly regarded)
- Relevant legal qualifications (desirable)
