This well-established CPA firm (also CA recognised) is led by 4 Partners and 24 staff and offers a genuinely flexible, people-first environment. With a diverse team across various ages and life stages, the firm strongly supports working parents and promotes flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

The firm works with a broad client base of small to medium-sized businesses and is known for its friendly, social culture and strong internal support.

The firm is seeking an experienced Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio and play a key role in team leadership. This is a hands-on role with significant face-to-face client interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients across various industries
• Providing tax and business advisory services
• Leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff
• Overseeing workflow, deadlines, and team performance
• Attending and leading face-to-face client meetings
• Supporting Partners with client strategy and advisory discussions

About You This role is open to candidates with varying backgrounds, provided they bring strong leadership capability and excellent communication skills.

You will ideally have:

• Around 6+ years’ experience in public practice (flexible for the right candidate)
• Previous experience managing and mentoring a team
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
