What You'll Be Doing
You'll play an integral role in managing probate and estate administration matters from start to finish, including:
- Preparing Probate and Letters of Administration applications
- Drafting probate documentation and Court forms
- Preparing Powers of Attorney and related documentation
- Assisting with the administration of deceased estates
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and relevant authorities
- Managing files from commencement through to completion
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring legislative compliance
- Providing ongoing support to two lawyers within the Wills & Estates team
- Managing client correspondence and delivering exceptional client service
You'll ideally bring: - Previous experience as a Probate Clerk or Wills & Estates Paralegal
- Around 3–5 years' experience in Wills & Estates or Probate
- Strong knowledge of probate and estate administration processes
- Experience preparing probate documentation and Powers of Attorney
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The confidence to work autonomously while knowing support is always available
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
- A positive, team-first attitude
