Planning & Environment Lawyer - 2-3 yrs PQE

A highly regarded and growing law firm is seeking a talented Planning & Environment Lawyer to join its expanding team in Melbourne.

This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused, strategic advice across complex planning and development matters. With a client base that includes developers, government authorities, and private sector stakeholders, the team is consistently involved in significant and high profile projects shaping Victoria’s built environment.

You’ll work on a broad mix of matters, including:

• Complex planning approvals and development projects
• Advisory work on planning schemes and amendments
• Strategic land use and environmental issues
• Advocacy and appearances before VCAT

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced and well respected practitioners who are genuinely invested in mentoring and developing junior lawyers. You’ll be given early responsibility, direct client exposure, and the chance to build your own profile and practice over time.

About you:

• 2-3 years PQE, ideally with exposure to planning, environment, or administrative law
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Confident written and verbal communication
• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in planning and development
• Desire to contribute to a collaborative and high performing team
