An established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Property Lawyer to join their growing team!
Due to a significant influx of new conveyancing matters including work inherited from another practice, the Property Law team is expanding. This is a busy, hands on position offering strong workflow, genuine responsibility and long term career opportunity.
The role can be based in Ballarat or Geelong. While most of the Property team operates from Ballarat, the firm is open to candidates being based in Geelong with occasional travel to Ballarat as required.
The Role Working closely with a Partner and an experienced Senior Conveyancer/Team Leader, you will manage matters end to end across:
- Residential conveyancing (high volume of new files)
- Commercial and industrial property transactions
- Sale and purchase of business
- Development matters
- Section 32 preparation
- Settlements through to finalisation
- Property matters arising from Wills & Estates
- Rural, farming and greenfield transactions
The client base is diverse, with a strong mix of residential, SME, agricultural and development clients, including many long standing family and farming clients.
About You - Ideally 2+ years PQE
- Experience managing conveyancing files from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle volume
- Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships
- Motivated to be part of a collaborative, energetic team
