The Firm A well-established and growing accounting and advisory firm with 4 Directors and a team of around 20 staff, the firm services a premium client base including listed companies, well-known brands, and large groups with turnovers exceeding $100M across a wide range of industries.
They pride themselves on transparent communication, strong leadership, and creating an environment where staff are genuinely involved in the direction and success of the business.
The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or emerging Manager who is ready to take ownership of a client portfolio while stepping into a leadership and mentoring capacity.
You’ll be responsible for: - Managing a portfolio of high-quality clients across various industries
- Reviewing financial statements and tax returns
- Providing tax planning and advisory services
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Attending management meetings and contributing to firm-wide decisions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You - 6 + years’ experience in Australian public practice
- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
- Experience managing or reviewing staff (or readiness to step into this)
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
- Experience with cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc.)
