The Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing financial statements and tax returns prepared by junior staff
- Managing end-to-end compliance workflows across a varied client base
- Providing technical tax support
- Assisting with tax planning and year-end advisory work alongside senior team members
- Liaising with clients and the ATO where required
- Supporting and mentoring junior accountants and contributing to team development
- Assisting with workflow management and ensuring deadlines are met
- Approximately 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge, including Division 7A
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently commenced (study support provided)
- Confident reviewing work and guiding junior staff
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-first approach
- Able to manage competing deadlines and work across a broad client base
- $100,000 – $110,000 + Super
- Flexible working arrangements (including 1 day WFH post-probation, with additional flexibility as required)

- Strong internal mentoring and technical support from senior staff and partners
- Exposure to a broad and complex client base, including high-value property clients
