The Role
Working closely with a Partner and Senior Client Account Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries and structures.
You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, managing workflow, mentoring junior team members, and identifying opportunities to provide additional business advisory services to your clients.
This position offers significant client interaction and is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving business challenges, and adding value beyond compliance.
What You'll Bring
You will be CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion) and have a strong foundation in public practice accounting.
To be successful, you will have: - At least 5 years' experience within public practice
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
- Exposure to trusts, companies, individuals, and multi-entity groups
- Experience with Division 7A and trust distributions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- A genuine interest in business advisory and helping clients grow
- The ability to mentor and support junior staff
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
