The Company
My client is a well-established accounting firm that has been operating successfully for over 20 years. The firm is led by an experienced Director and supported by a close-knit team.
The client base consists of quality SME businesses with turnovers of up to $30 million, giving great exposure to large portfolios and complex groups.
The OpportunityDue to continued stability and consistent workflow, the firm is looking to bring on a talented Senior Accountant to join the team.
This role would suit someone with over 4 years experience in public practice who is confident managing client relationships, preparing financials, and working collaboratively with both local and offshore team members.
You will work closely with the Director and have exposure to a strong portfolio of healthcare and SME clients.
Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing financial statements and tax returns for SME clients
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Reviewing work prepared by offshore team members
- Communicating directly with clients regarding compliance and financial matters
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory work
- Supporting workflow management across your client portfolio
About You - 4+ years’ experience within public practice accounting
- Strong experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Confident communicating directly with clients
- Experience reviewing work completed by junior staff
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Experience with MYOB, BGL, or similar systems (preferred)
