Senior Associate - Banking & Finance (6+ PQE)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking & Finance Senior Associate to join one of Australia's leading commercial law practices.

Working closely with highly regarded Partners, you will advise on sophisticated financing transactions for an impressive client base that includes major banks, institutional financiers, private lenders, superannuation funds, real estate developers, commercial borrowers and sponsors.

This role offers exposure to some of Australia's most significant property and development projects, with a particular focus on property finance, investment structures, acquisition funding, development finance and complex debt and equity transactions.

The Opportunity
You will play a key role in advising clients across a broad range of banking and finance matters, including:

• Property and development finance transactions
• Acquisition and investment funding
• Structured debt and equity arrangements
• Loan documentation and security arrangements
• Refinancing and portfolio transactions
• Transaction management and deal execution

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

• 6+ years' post admission experience in Banking & Finance
• Strong experience advising on property finance transactions
• Excellent technical drafting and transaction management skills
• The ability to build trusted client relationships
• A collaborative leadership style and willingness to mentor junior lawyers
• Commercial acumen and strong problem solving capabilities
• The confidence to work autonomously while remaining a valued member of a team
