They are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer (8+ PQE) to join their Property + Projects team, with a focus on commercial and retail leasing matters.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded property lawyer who enjoys high-quality work, autonomy and building strong client relationships.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including major retail brands, ASX-listed organisations, multinational businesses and in-house legal teams, providing strategic advice across a broad range of property matters.

Your experience will include:

• Retail and commercial leasing transactions, including negotiations, reviews, renewals, variations, assignments, surrenders and consent deeds
• Managing property portfolios for large corporate clients
• Providing advice on commercial property matters, developments, acquisitions, sales and market entry strategies
• Supporting clients with fitout and construction-related agreements
• Working closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives and deliver practical solutions

About You
We are looking for a senior property lawyer who is commercially focused and passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes. You will have:

• 8+ years PQE experience in commercial and/or retail leasing
• Strong technical knowledge and experience managing complex leasing matters
• The ability to independently manage your own matters and client relationships
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• A commercial mindset with a focus on achieving practical outcomes
• A genuine interest in innovation, technology and improving the way legal services are delivered
