SMSF Senior Accountant

Due to growth, the firm is seeking two experienced SMSF Senior Accountants to join the Superannuation & Wealth team, working with a diverse and sophisticated client base across multiple industries.

As an SMSF Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SMSF compliance work, with exposure to complex structures and the opportunity to develop your advisory capability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of SMSF financial statements and tax returns
• Liaising with auditors and resolving audit queries
• Managing a portfolio of SMSF clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Identifying process improvements and contributing to team initiatives
• Staying up to date with superannuation legislation and compliance requirements

This role will suit an experienced SMSF professional looking to join a firm that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term career development.

You will ideally have:

• CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
• Strong experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
• Solid technical knowledge of superannuation legislation
• Ability to manage deadlines and client relationships independently
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
