Due to growth, the firm is seeking two experienced SMSF Senior Accountants to join the Superannuation & Wealth team, working with a diverse and sophisticated client base across multiple industries.
As an SMSF Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SMSF compliance work, with exposure to complex structures and the opportunity to develop your advisory capability.
Key responsibilities include: - Preparation and review of SMSF financial statements and tax returns
- Liaising with auditors and resolving audit queries
- Managing a portfolio of SMSF clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Identifying process improvements and contributing to team initiatives
- Staying up to date with superannuation legislation and compliance requirements
This role will suit an experienced SMSF professional looking to join a firm that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term career development.
You will ideally have: - CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- Strong experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
- Solid technical knowledge of superannuation legislation
- Ability to manage deadlines and client relationships independently
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
