My client is offering a rare opportunity for a Tax Manager to take ownership of their tax division and work closely with experienced, hands-on Partners in a thriving SME-focused practice.
  
The Firm
A well-established two-Partner firm with a team of 18 professionals, this practice has built a strong reputation supporting SME clients. They pride themselves on being collaborative, approachable, and genuinely team-focused — a place where your input is valued and your impact is visible.
  
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone with 5+ years’ experience who is ready to step up and lead from the front. You’ll combine technical expertise with people management and operational oversight.
You’ll be responsible for:

• Reviewing and overseeing team output
• Managing your own select portfolio of SME clients
• Working closely with the Directors on strategy and client advisory matters
• Some exposure to SMSFs (beneficial but not essential)
• Managing workflow and driving efficiencies across the tax function

This is more than just reviewing returns — it’s about shaping processes, developing staff, and influencing the direction of the division.
