An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven Associate or Senior Associate to join a growing Wills & Estates practice within a well-regarded, mid-sized law firm.
This is a newly created role, reflecting continued investment and expansion in the practice area. You’ll work closely with an experienced and highly respected Partner, who is generous with their time and genuinely invested in mentoring and developing their team. This is a hands on environment where you’ll be included in client interactions and meaningful work from day one, gaining exposure to complex, high quality matters while enjoying genuine autonomy and career progression.
The Opportunity This role offers a broad mix of advisory and contentious Wills & Estates work, including:
- Drafting and advising on Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney
- Estate litigation, including family provision claims (Part IV)
- Acting for executors, beneficiaries, and claimants in estate disputes
- Trust disputes and asset protection matters
- Challenging the validity of Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Guardianship and administration matters (including tribunal work)
- Probate disputes, estate administration issues, and recovery of assets
- Preparing Deeds of Family Arrangement and settlement documentation
You’ll be working on behalf of a quality client base, typically mid to high net worth individuals, with matters that are both interesting and technically engaging.
About You - Ideally 3-5+ years PQE in Wills & Estates or closely related practice areas
- Strong technical skills with the ability to manage matters with a level of autonomy
- Confident communicator who enjoys client facing work
- A proactive and collaborative approach
