Wills & Estates Lawyer

We are currently seeking a Wills & Estates Lawyer to join a well established and growing legal practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with 2-5 years PAE to work across a broad range of estate matters in a collegiate and supportive environment.

You’ll join a busy and expanding team where no two days are the same; working on everything from estate planning and administration to more complex estate litigation. The role offers the chance to develop your technical expertise while working closely with senior lawyers who are passionate about mentoring and professional growth.

The team operates collaboratively, often working together on complex matters. You’ll be supported by experienced legal assistants and will have access to resources across multiple office locations throughout Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of estate planning, administration, and litigation matters
• Assist with complex estate files under the guidance of senior lawyers
• Draft and review Wills, Powers of Attorney, and estate related documents
• Liaise with clients, executors, and beneficiaries with professionalism and empathy
• Contribute to a supportive and team oriented environment
• Work collaboratively across the firm’s multiple offices when needed

Candidate Requirements

• 2-5 years post admission experience in Wills & Estates (or a genuine interest in this area)
• Strong drafting and client communication skills
• Ability to manage files autonomously while contributing to team matters
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn from senior practitioners
• Compassionate and professional when dealing with sensitive client matters
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality client service
