About the Opportunity We are partnering with a leading mid-tier practice renowned for its warm culture, exceptional internal support, and deep expertise across Wills & Estates. With several Accredited Specialists, a strong reputation for complex estates work, and a leadership team committed to developing its people, this is a rare opportunity for a motivated lawyer to grow their career in a highly respected environment.
Due to internal movement, the team is now seeking a 4-6 PQE Wills & Estates Lawyer with a strong grounding in estate planning, estate administration, and particularly estate litigation. You will step into a well established practice with high quality files, direct client contact, and the opportunity to work on a broad mix of matters including complex court appointed matters and trustee work.
You will work closely with an Accredited Specialist who is hands on, highly supportive, and passionate about developing lawyers. This is a role where you will be trusted with autonomy, encouraged to take ownership of challenging files, and supported to carve out a clear career path.
What You’ll Be Doing - Manage a varied and interesting caseload of estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation matters
- Prepare complex estate planning documentation, applications for grants, and act for executors
- Work on court appointed matters, trustee roles, and high complexity files under senior guidance
- Draft legal documents, affidavits, correspondence, and court materials
- Conduct appearances where required
- Work closely with senior practitioners, including multiple Accredited Specialists
- Maintain direct client communication with a diverse and engaged client base
- Contribute to a collegiate, friendly, and people first team culture
What We’re Looking For - 4-6 years PQE with experience across Wills & Estates
- Strong background in estate litigation and the ability to handle complex matters
- Confidence in estate planning and estate administration (including drafting and grant applications)
- Someone who enjoys both autonomy and collaboration
- A lawyer who is eager to develop: curious, motivated, and excited by challenging work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive client relationships
- A team oriented professional who enjoys contributing to a supportive environment
